Traceroute online
Trace the complete network path to any host — hop by hop latency and routing.
What is Traceroute?
Traceroute maps the path network packets take from source to destination, showing each intermediate router (hop) and the latency to reach it.
How to read results
- Hop number — distance from the source
- IP / Hostname — the router at that hop
- RTT — round-trip time to that hop in milliseconds
- * * * — router doesn't respond to traceroute probes

If one hop shows high latency, confirm it with a direct ping to the final destination. Want to know which IP and network node your traceroute starts from? Check my IP address.
